This time of year I kindof wish there was no -inside- of my house … Too many distractions from the -outside- of my house.
Mmm … Lunch tastes good & the sun feels great. Perfect break from the office.

sitting outside in my new chairs inspired to make a garden arch on the deck… guess I’ll be getting more plants after all. Someone stop me!
You know the splurging has gotten out of control when the bank calls to verify recent activity.
I’m not much of a gardener, but you’d never believe it if you saw me in action this weekend.
Just back from Portland Nursery with what will hopefully be the last of the plants I’ll need for the summer.
Blueberry waffle from the waffle window. Well worth the trouble of dealing with the waffle & the dog at the same time.
so happy to see @goodmanjoel here!! Now, let’s see how long we can get him to stay :)
better let the dog take me out for a walk before it gets too hot. And, according to my weather-specific crystal ball: thunderstorms tonight!
You know you’re staying up too late when the morning paper arrives before you’ve gone to bed.
the dog is freaking out about nothing tonight. She must be practicing in anticipation for the fireworks to begin next week.
plotting out my next splurges: projector for backyard summer movies + a wii. But first, a new sprinkler attachment for the hose.
after a little break from yardwork, it’s time to get back out there again.
Drinks on the deck with friends and a lovely summer breeze.
home after cocktails in the nice summer breeze. Disappointed that a few of my mobile tweets didn’t appear to make it to their destination.
“Graduation” day!!!! I’m generally anti high-fivin - but I’ll make a temporary exception in this moment.
Enjoying a few minuites of sunshine … looking foward to the weekend!
Last day of class!! It’s been a great series, but I’m glad for the end.
fun walk: ran into an old friend renovating a house in the hood + 4 guys practicing a dance routine in a parking lot.
waking from nightmares far too often lately. As my heartbeat finds its normal rhythm, I contemplate forgetting vs. analyzing.
in an effort to work fewer hours, I’m left with more time off the clock to fret about how to get my work done in less time. Good times.
in popcorn heaven. May never need to go to the movies again. Wishing @serrat the best of luck with her dreamhouse.
Where is that smell of hot buttered popcorn coming from?? Maybe I’ll go to the movies tonight.
holy happy making! http://youtube.com/watch?v=zlfKdbWwruY
scanning through the iPhone weather forecasts (one for each family member) Grandma wins the prize with a high of 115 in Yuma! Ouch!!!
Zoe was in exploration mode on our walk this morning. Lots of stopping to smell the roses.
noshing on my fav childhood snack (flour tortilla with cheese made crispy in the microwave) while an artichoke cooks on the stove.
anticipating an unwelcome plot turn and repeating the mantra “it’s just TV … It’s just TV …”
The “Evil Prince” that I’m gobbling up at my desk right now is much farther from “mild” than I was hoping for.
my tummy gets queasy on Mondays since being asked to take on a particular project that has regular Monday meetings. (I should’a said no.)
I really need to get a better rhythm figured out for the weekends.
not sure I’m actually going to be able to give up precious TwitterSpace to the #pdfdebate afterall … http://tinyurl.com/5rxydu
I’m loving the darkness of this morning. If it lasts till noon as promised, that will be just about perfect.

You want an Obama/McCain debate about Presidential policies? You got it! Sort of. The prominent political website TechPresident announced today that both campaigns are sending official…
an excellent evening at the ballgame, totally relaxing and oh so much fun. Followed up with drinks at Holman’s. Nearing time for sleep. ahhh
at PGE park with@pdxleopoldo
♫Take me out to the ball game♫ but first, let’s see if a catnap will cure this hangover. If not, beer and hot dogs should do the trick.
class project: awesome project. 50% of the project team to make it kinda suck. Huh. Sounds familiar.
my day got a little brighter once I realized I’m using a pen stolen from CJ’s desk.
there’s a guy in the class named “Bo.” Bo was born without a sense of humor. Bo scares me a little.
class is great so far - but the guy next to me doesn’t seem to notice the earthquake he’s creating by bouncing his knee like that.
unable to express how much I do *not* want to be in a classroom from 8-5 today. Too many days in this particular work-week.
Teacher is talking to himself - the women behind me are LOUD talkers (& incredibly uninteresting), I’m hungover. It’s going to be a long …
home from a wonderful dinner with friends. Not at all happy about how soon morning will arrive.
haven’t we found ice on Mars before? and I really wish I could find a happy ending to the conversation that just left me feeling craptastic.
only two meetings today. Having a hard time figuring out how to actually use the TIME that I have to actually WORK!
